HTC HD3 Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Gets Leaked
The next big thing happening this year is Windows Phone 7. We have no idea whether it will really be big, but we can definitely hope so since we desperately need another player to fight Apple and Google in the mobile business.

Windows Phone 7 sounds great, at least on paper, and we’re anxious to see what companies like HTC, Samsung and LG can come up in terms of new WP7 handsets. The HTC HD3 would be only the logical step for HTC when it comes to Windows Phones. The HTC HD2 is, still, the best Windows Mobile phone out there so the HD3 should definitely be the next flagship Windows device coming out of HD3 factories.
Now, we elaborated on the HTC HD3 before saying it must be done and it looks like today we got some specs for the phone. We can’t confirm any of it just yet so make sure you grab a big chunk of salt when reading the following list of specs and features:
- 4.5-inch WXGA Super AMOLED multi-touch display
- 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash
- 720p HD video recording
- 1080p HD playback
- Wi-Fi / Bluetooth
- 3G / 4G connectivity
- 32GB microSD support
- 1GB RAM / 1GB ROM
- 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor
- 1800 mAh battery
- 115mm x 65mm x 10mm
So where do we begin? Isn’t a 4.3-inch screen big enough (or should I say “more big” just as the pictures says) for a phone? what about that RAM/ROM ratio there and what seems to be an extraordinary Qualcomm processor? Last but not least the 1,800 mAh battery seems to be taken straight from smartphone heaven, so, yes, while this leaked HTC HD3 sounds like a great device, we’ll look at it with at least one raised eyebrow while secretly hoping HTC is building this monster right here.
Update: So it looks like it was just a mock-up after all, but HTC should definitely pay attention to the wishes of the public.
