Apple Website Leaks iWork For iPhone
Some careful eyed Apple users have discovered that the Canadian, UK and Australian online Apple Store had previously had references to the ‘iWork for the iPhone’. These were located in the “Learn more” tab of the AppleCare selection for the iPhone 4 – but these were mysteriously removed after it became a big story.

This story was featured on several large blogs – and then of course, Apple’s websmasters removed the offending bulletpoint from the ‘Learn More’ tab. It’s gone currently, but MacRumors thankfully grabbed some screenshots of it, displayed above.
Apple already has a mobile iWork suite on the iPad. It offers Pages, Keynote and Numbers (or, a word processor, a PowerPoint clone and a spreadsheet program). So, it’s entirely possible that Apple will port this to the smaller iPhone. Of course, the iPad is a lot bigger than the iPhone. Not quite sure who would compose new office documents from their iPhone, but it’ll be nice for those who have to view documents on the go – say ones they’ve received via e-mail.
Since Apple edited out the reference to iWork for iPhone, news on this front has been scarce. We’ll keep you updated in case nay more information about iWork for iPhone comes out.
