Sceptre Offers New LED Television Bargain
Folks, we all know the economy is in something of a downward spiral, but television is still a great entertainment value. And if you’re looking for a new one but don’t want to spend a fortune on the newest LED technology, consider a pair of entrants from Sceptre.
Now, they’re not big televisions–they measure 19 and 24 inches on the diagonal. Nor are they particularly powerful or offer a lot of options. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to make these the centerpiece of any home theater system.
But here’s the upshot–not only are they both Energy Star 3.0 compliant, pretty much ensuring you’ll save money on their operation, but they also come with built-in DVD players and fit just about anywhere, being only .69 inches at their thinnest point. To top it all off, both models are 1080p and boast a pair of HDMI ports.
The 19 inch model will cost you $269, and the 24 inch model will set you back $399. Both will be available this July, and I’ll tell you this–I’ve seen Sceptre gear in action–a 27″ LCD monitor, actually–and it was really impressive. If their televisions are that good, it’s definitely worth the buy.
