New Kindle DX Revealed For Pre-Order
Remember that Black Kindle that was spotted a few months ago? Well, it’s real – and in fact, it’s new Kindle DX. For those of you who aren’t up on your Kindle tech, the DX is the bigger Kindle with the bigger screen. It’ll come in an all new color, not really black, but graphite.

The new Kindle DX isn’t offering much more than a new color. Aside from the new color, it’s got a new e Ink screen with improved contrast ratios – as well as a new price, $379, down from the $489 that it was when first introduced.
The other specs remain the same, including the 9.7-inch screen size, 4GB of internal memory and the free Sprint 3G connection for the lifetime of the device.
The new price is actually pretty decent. Before the price drops for both the Kindle and now the Kindle DX, I don’t think the Kindle fared that favorably, price wise, against the iPad, even though I (and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos) believe that the iPad and Kindle are in different markets.
Any Kindle lovers going to pick up this new model? Do you think the black looks good?
