Epson IU-01 Interactive Whiteboard Module Unveiled

Epson Unveils a Modern Interactive Whiteboard Module called the IU-01 to Do Away with Actual Whiteboards

Epson takes the projection display needs of users to another level with the announcement of the IU-01 whiteboard module. The new module negates the need to make use of an external whiteboard during meetings, conferences or any events, giving the presenter full control of what is being discussed on screen.

The Epson UI-01 module will come with two pens (with rechargeable batteries) that will allow user interaction within the screen itself. Users will be able to open and close programs and files and even write on the screen when needed.

The Epson whiteboard module will offer an active area of up to 96″ diagonal (WXGA) and 102″ diagonal (XGA). It is compatible with most projector models, making them interactive without having to buy a totally new and advanced projector at that. This is perhaps one of the cost-friendly alternatives that business or educational institutions can resort to.

The Epson UI-01 module will be released sometime in October and will retail for about $599.
