Asus Eee PC 1015PD and 1005PED Notebooks Confirm US Release [The Asus Eee PC 1015PD and 1005PED Notebooks Will Be Soon Released in the U.S. With a New Case Design]

Asus has confirmed that two new 10″ notebooks will be making their way to U.S. shores with the Asus Eee PC1015PD and the Asus Eee 1005PED by July 19. These new notebooks will carry an entirely new design and are pegged to stand out above the rest of the Asus Eee PC 1005 notebook series.

These new Asus Eee notebooks are buget-friendly and will come in a choice of processors. This includes a choice between an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz, Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz or Intel Atom N475 1.83GHz processors.

The last two models will be able to handle faster DDR3 RAM compared to the DDR2 memory of theN450 processor.

No specific pricing has been bared as of yet although it seems they will be priced a little lower once they officially launch. There is also a high-end model with premium features such as Bluetooth 3.0 set to come out.

Well, we just have to wait one month more to see if these new Asus Aspire notebooks are worth getting!
