Sharp Unveils Smallest Digital TV Tuner

Sharp Unveils the Smallest Digital TV Tuner Component in the World

Sharp has earned yet another first with this new found creation, unveiling a new digital TV tuner component which is 50% thinner and 70% smaller than other previous models. The new miniature component also whittled down the parts and elements used, bringing down the usual 300 parts to just 80 used.

The fully functional digital TV tuner now stands to be the world’s smallest digital TV tuner device and is fully compatible with DVB-T, ATSC, ISDB-T/TB, DVB-T/T2 and CTTB. The Sharp TV tuner can be used in regions that include Japan, Europe, North America, China, and South America.

The new digital TV tuner size stands to be a new addition to Sharp’s roster of products, providing lesser space and more flexibility for video entertainment and/or capturing, depending on how techies would put them to use.

Then again, watching TV programs or shows now just got easier and smarter especially if the inside of your PC looks already seems cramped from all the cards and wires installed internally.
