LimbGear iHood Hoodie Controls iPod From Sleeve
If you’ve ever been chilly, bored and longing for something simple all at the same time, then man, do I have something exciting for you. Now, thanks to the iHood Interactive Hoodie from LimbGear, you’ll be able to take a hooded sweatshirt and turn it into a complete entertainment system.
The iHood lets you plug your iPod or iPhone into the sweatshirt, and then control the unit from controls on your sleeve. It comes as your choice of pullover or full hoodie, and it runs the wires through the sleeve. They’re charging $69 bucks for the sweatshirt itself, and if you want to use the iPhone and iPod with it, you’ll need a PANiQ Controller (also from LimbGear) for an additional $24.95, bringing the total cost to about $100.
It’s the kind of thing you could probably do yourself, in a lower-tech fashion, with needle and thread and a couple other devices, but the idea is still sufficiently awesome to be worthwhile. And especially so if you’re not sufficiently do-it-yourselfer enough to make the modifications to your own sweatshirts.
