Fujiitsu Quietly Adds The Lifebook TH700 Tablet PC Into Their Available Lineup

Fujitsu Lifebook TH700 Now Available, Priced At $1,149 & Featuring 12.1" Display, Core i3 CPU & Windows 7 Premium

Fujitsu seems to have quietly slipped another tablet style PC into their currently available device lineup. The new model is the Fujitsu Lifebook TH700 and its priced from $1,149.

With that, Fujitsu is currently offering the Lifebook TH700 with a slight discount. In fact, those who make the purchase can get $50 back by way of a mail-in-rebate, which essentially gives you a final price of $1,099. As for availability, you can place your order as of today and the Fujitsu website is currently showing an estimated shipping date of July 5th.

Moving into the specs, the Lifebook TH700 is a tablet PC which features a 12.1 inch display. Or more specifically, it has a WXGA LED backlit display that is multi-touch capable. Additionally, the display is a dual-digitizer which means it will work with pen input as well as finger touch.

Other features include a 2.26 GHz Intel Core i3-350M processor, Mobile Intel HM55 Express chipset, Intel HD Graphics, 4GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Ethernet, dual-layer super-multi DVD drive, fingerprint scanner, 6-cell 5200 mAh battery and the 64-bit edition of Windows 7 Home Premium.

As for the keyboard, you can expect that to be both full-sized and spill resistant.

The Lifebook TH700 also has hard drive protection in the form of the Fujitsu Shock Sensor as well as a removable dust filter, built-in 2 megapixel webcam, dual-digital array microphones, memory card reader, HDMI, VGA, three USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard slot and Realtek ALC269 audio with two speakers.

As for size, the Lifebook TH700 measures in at 11.69 x 9.17 x 1.51 inches and weighs in at 4.2 pounds. Though, its worth mentioning that weight can vary depending on configuration.

Finally, the Fujitsu website is also noting the Lifebook TH700 as shipping with either a free 250GB external hard drive or free Lexmark X2670 all-in-one printer.
