The Warmouse Meta: Now Available

The 18 Button Mouse With The Long History Starts Shipping Today

You last read about the WarMouse Meta here back in December, so today, we get you an update on this strange peripheral with the even stranger history.

Originally called the OpenOffice Mouse, which led to lawsuits from the developers of OpenOffice, the rebranded, recolored, and fully tricked-out Warmouse Meta took on new life as a gaming peripheral. This mouse has fully 512K of RAM (yes, the mouse has memory, and for a note of perspective, fully twice as much as the original Macintosh computer), a laser sensor, clickable scroll wheel (it can also be assigned commands), an Xbox 360-style joystick and a host of presets (64 at last count) for various applications like Microsoft Office and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

It starts shipping today, and you can order it directly from WarMouse’s website at a cost of $79.99. It may well be the most powerful mouse that you’ve ever owned…at least, so far.
