T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant / Galaxy S Now Official; Release Date Still a Mystery [T-Mobile Confirms Samsung Galaxy S as the Vibrant; Doesn’t Specify Launch Dates & Prices]
Just a few days ago we told you that T-Mobile is going to bring the Samsung Galaxy S to the crowds on July 21, without being able to confirm that Vibrant name and the rumored release date. Then we’ve seen how the special contest hosted by T-Mobile revealed the name of the device: the Samsung Vibrant.

And today we hear that T-Mobile’s official forums actually mention the device and talk about the Vibrant’s new features. What T-Mobile doesn’t say yet is when the phone is arriving and how much it will cost. We’re probably going to see it priced at $199.99 with a two-year new contract and we’ll still assume the Vibrant will come at some point in July.
Here’s what T-Mobile’s official forum post entitled “Samsung Vibrant – An Early FAQ” says about the new device:

We will have more details to share when the countdown on the T-Mobile Clue page reaches zero. But in the meantime, we wanted to answer a few of the most common questions we have received.

It’s interesting to follow Samsung around as it’s getting ready to almost simultaneously launch the Galaxy S in various markets. And considering that AT&T is also going to sell it as the Captivate, are there any chances for Verizon and Sprint to pick it up at some point later this year?
Will you buy the Samsung Galaxy S or would you rather try to get Android working on your HTC HD2 instead?
