Goodbye T-Mobile in 2011?
In something that seems to be a bit surprising, financial site 24/7 Wall St. has started predicting companies that may bite the bullet for 2011 and T-Mobile has surprisingly been included. Apparently they have good reason to believe so despite T-Mobile being one of the largest carriers in the U.S. with 34 million customers.
In summary, the conclusion was based on simple accounting. While T-Mobile has indeed been racking in millions from the past years, they have not been hitting their target. Add to that the fact that they are have not revealed something extravagant to catapult their fortunes and you may have early indicators of folding up.
A bright side is that 24/7 Wall St. sees T-Mobile being acquired or merged with another company. Hence T-Mo will not totally be gone but will rather find itself being absorbed by another company. As to which company, it may be among its competitors like Sprint.
Now don’t conclude just yet. These are only predictions and if any T-Mobile representative is out there, you still have time to re-align your company’s fate.

Catch up – they have already merged with Orange (Part of Telefonica).
The name may disappear, bu they are safe.
I think this post is only referring to t-mobile US which is not involved with the Orange joint venture. Only t-mobile uk and Orange uk are part of this deal.
Also, orange is owned by France telecom and not telefonica.
