Gateway Gives LT23 Netbook Stylish Refresh
Netbook sales may not be as good as they were the past two years, Gateway has given the LT23 netbook a modest refresh that includes a new processor as well as a new stylish design that will appeal to some customers.

Visually, Gateway hopes the new LT23 design will make the netbook a “must-have” for “sophisticated” “upscale” “fashion-conscious” PC users. It features a new matte design and the netbooks themselves come in three colors – champagne (gold), pearl (pink) and black (black).
On the inside, the battery life and processing horsepower has been updated. The LT23 now comes with Intel’s N450 Atom processor, which offers 1.66Ghz processor speed and a 512KB of L2 cache. This brings the LT23 up to line with the lesser LT21 netbook, which already was using the Atom N450 processor.
Regarding battery life, the LT23 will come with a new 6-cell 4400maH battery, which Gateway promises will deliver 8 hours of battery life.
The new Gateway LT23 netbook for fashion-loving people is now out in several retailers (according to Gateway, we couldn’t find any) and it’s got a recommended manufacturer price of $329.99.
