Sony Ericsson Vivaz Heading To AT&T, Confirmed By FCC
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz has been rumored as coming available with AT&T, however it looks like the FCC has recently confirmed those rumors. Granted, official may be a little strong considering AT&T has not made the announcement. But still, I am thinking a picture which is clearly showing an AT&T logo is to the point. Granted anything can change, and we all know AT&T has the final say.

That said, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz originally graced the FCC back in February of this year, but that listing has since been updated with the previously mentioned logo as well as mention of a few AT&T services. Those services included the fairly standard offerings of AT&T Navigator, AT&T Maps and AT&T Family Map. Of course, those mentions were all included in the user guide which was a part of the listing.
Otherwise, in terms of specs there is really nothing that we have not seen before. But for those of us in the US that may have missed previous reports of the Vivaz — it will feature goodies such as a 360 x 640 pixel touchscreen display that is said to be scratch-resistant. Also included will be DLNA, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot, 720MHz processor with PowerVR SGX and an 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and 720p video recording. Which coincidentally seems to be the new standard in video recording quality on a mobile phone.

Finally, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is also expected to ship with an 8GB memory card in the box and running Symbian S60 5th Edition (aka Symbian^1) as well as having integration with the usual suspects in terms of social networking — Facebook and Twitter. As of now, nothing has been detailed by AT&T, but now that these images are out in the wild I suspect it will not be much longer of a wait.
