iHome announces a new portable stereo speaker dock for the iPhone and iPods with the new iHome iP46 docks. The new docks boast of SRS TruBass technology and packs four speakers encased in Reason8 chambers.

The new iHome docks will run on AC power or internal rechargeable batteries. As most iPod docks, they can also recharge your Apple device when docked in. The iHome iP46 docking station supports most dockable iPods and will be retailing for about $99.99.

The timing for the release of the iHome iP46 comes in time for the summer as most people are expected to go on vacations and spend a lot of time in the outdoors. These new docking station provides a keen accessory to have, especially for the people who want to share their favorite tunes amplified in a modern and portable add-on.

The iHome iP46 measures 13×3.6×1.9 inches, making it portable to bring along in any trip or at times when you chill out with your friends.
