Thanko Digital Binocular-Camera Combo Spotted
Thanko of Tokyo has unveiled yet another wacky gadget with the release of the Thanko UDGZDC8M Digital Binocular and Camera Hybrid. As the product name connotes, this is a new image acquiring device that puts together binoculars and an 8MP digital camera distant viewing and/or capturing images.
Among the features of the Thanko UDGZDC8M Hybrid include a 4X digital zoom (8X for the binoculars), a 16GB maximum storage capacity via SD/MMC, a 1.5″ TFT LCD screen and a USB 1.1 interface port. Videos are captured in AVI format and in QVGA quality (320×240 at 30fps).
The Thanko UDGZDC8M Binocular and Camera combo weighs 450 grams and is now available for $284.79 (plus shipping). This new hybrid combo should be perfect for bird watchers, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts who want to explore and capture sceneries all around.
While Thanko has the knack of releasing new gadgets only in Japan, this is one device which you can get even if you are not residing in Japan. It is powered by 4 AAA batteries.
