Samsung Mobile To Officially Announce "A New Class Of Brilliant Android Smart Phones" June 29th
Well look what just showed up in my inbox, its an invitation from Samsung. Android fans mark your calendar — Samsung Mobile has just announced a media event for June 29th. Unfortunately the invitation has not listed all that much in terms of details. What we can tell you is that it will kick off at 6:30pm on June 29th and there will be a musical performance by a special event.

Oh, and they also plan to “unveil a new class of brilliant Android smart phones.” Otherwise we know that this will specifically be a Samsung Galaxy S Media Event and those in attendance will be able to see both J.K. Shin the President of Mobile Communications Business for Samsung Electronics and Omar Khan the Chief Strategy Officer of Samsung Telecommunications America speak.

With that, we are forced to speculate just a little bit. Given that, if I had to venture a guess, I would think we may see something in terms of the Galaxy S Pro as well as the recently announced (with AT&T) Samsung Captivate.
Of course we already know the official features in regards to the Captivate, but maybe we will learn a little more in terms of pricing and availability. Granted thats really up to AT&T, but we can hope.
Otherwise, given the invite specifically lists smartphones I think its pretty safe to say we are not going to see anything tablet related, which means that Tab P1000 is probably not going to be mentioned. But then again, this will be a “new class.”
