E3 2010: 3D Action Kicks Off Sony’s Official Keynote

Sony Decided to Offer Lots of PlayStation 3 3D Action in the Upcoming Months

After covering Microsoft’s and Nintendo’s E3 keynotes we are now back with some hot Sony-style action. And Sony started their night straight up with 3D talk as it looks that’s the next big thing on the PlayStation 3.

Jack Tretton, President and CEO of Sony, praised Sony’s PlayStation 3 and what the console has done for the company. The console is made for the whole family and it’s definitely not limited to the living room. But you guys knew that already.

What you didn’t know, at least not officially anyway, is that Sony is getting ready to bring 3G gaming to your living room and the company will update over 35 million PS3 consoles out there in order to offer 3D support in the future. What you’ll have to do is get a 3D-ready TV in order to be able to play all the upcoming PS3 3D games.

By March 2011 you will get over 20 3D games for your PlayStation 3 including Motorstorm, Wipeout HD, Kilzone 3, Madden, Shaun White Snowboarding, Motorstorm Apocalypse, MLB10, Tiger Woods PGA Tour and a lot more.

What would you rather play with? A 3D-ready PlayStation 3 or Nintendo’s 3DS handheld game console?
