Retro Style USB Keyboards for the iPad Anyone?
Do you have an old typewriter sitting around at your home? While most of us learned to type faster using good old typewriters in the past, Jack Zylkin now offers a neat methodology of putting old-hand typewriters to good use. That is if you don’t mind typing slower like perhaps 3 words a minute.
Zylkin has devised a new way to provide users the proper add-on for typing with the Apple iPad. Rather than spend a lot on accessories, you only need to shell out about $200 for this one which he will digitize in a snap. Or if you are the geeky type who wants to tinker around, you can even get the DIY kit which is priced between $75 to $150.
Now if you don’t actually have an old typewriter to upgrade or the savvy “tinkering” type, you can get one over at Etsy. They are being offered over there between $400 to $500.
While it doesn’t seem that a lot of people would be at ease with this “digitized” USB keyboard for the iPad, it does present other options. The only problem is that people who want something different or cheaper may be the only ones who would give this modernized keyboard a shot. Care to try it yourself?
