Two New Motorola Droids Show Up In Verizon Database [New Photos Show Motorola Droid Shadow and Droid Xtreme In Verizon's Database]
Public statements by Motorola’s CEO Sanjay Jha had confirmed that two new “Droid” branded Android phones from Motorola were headed to Verizon, with them making a debut this fall. Now, they’re showing up in Verizon’s internal database, according to leaked screenshots from a naughty Verizon employee.

The screenshots were posted by website droid-life and show the Motorola Droid Shadow and the Droid Xtreme to be the other phone. There is some confusion over which of these two phones is actually the proper “Droid 2″, as if it actually matters. Gizmodo actually believes now that that the phone lost in the Verizon gym bathroom (shown above) is that “Droid Xtreme” which will be the “Droid 2″ to the first Motorola Droid.
So, the more high-end Droid Shadow has yet to be seen in public in such clear pictures, if this is in-fact the slightly lower-end Droid Xtreme. According to information that Gizmodo is hearing (this isn’t from the Big Red intranet posting), the Droid Xtreme will have 16GB of internal memory and no keyboard, while the Droid Shadow will have 2GB of internal memory and will be a slate keyboard-free smartphone, like the iPhone.
At any rate, these phones are supposed to be released in July according to Jha’s comments, and other websites with ears inside Verizon are reporting that we’ll see them unveiled next month. So stay tuned.
