iTunes.com, New Macs at WWDC?
Apple’s World Wild Developers Conference, or WWDC, is set to begin on on June 7th and run through June 11th, with Apple fanboys everywhere anxiously awaiting the date. While many assume that Apple is set to announce the often leaked fourth generation iPhone at next month’s conference, there is much room for Apple to announce other products as its unlikely they will use all 5 days to discuss the new iPhone.

While there’s no solid evidence as to what exactly Apple will announce next month alongside the new iPhone, some new rumors have surfaced that give us hints and they seem pretty believable, but we’ll let you be the judge of that.
The source of these rumors starts with Shaw Wu, an analyst from Kaufman Bros., who recently gave some predictions to investors. First things first, according to Wu, apple is going to announce iTunes.com. If you remember, Apple recently acquired and then announced the closure of the online music service Lala.com leaving them with a whole slew of technology to play around with. According to rumors, iTunes.com will be a cloud-based music service much like Lala but unfortunately that’s about where the rumors end.
The next set of rumors says that Apple will also refresh both the Mac Pro and MacBook Air, something that has been needed for quite some time now. Supposedly, Apple will be cramming 2 12-core Intel Xeon Westmere processors into the new Mac Pros, giving professional designers and the like some additional horse power to work with. On the MacBook Air side of things, rumors say that Apple will be including either an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor in addition to 4GB of RAM, making the ultra portable computer a much more viable laptop alternative.
Just remember, these are still rumors and until the WWDC gets underway we will have no way to properly assess their accurateness. If, however, Apple were to announce these products, would you buy/use any of them? If so, which?
