Viliv P3 Prime Portable Media Player Now Featured On Viliv Website
The Viliv P3 Prime was first unveiled during CES 2010 and since then it had seemingly faded away. But flash forward to today and it seems as if Viliv had keep working on the portable media player because it now has an official listing on the company website.

That of course comes as good and bad news depending on where you may live. In other words, it does not mean that I (in the US) will be able to run out and make a purchase. Instead like most other Viliv products this one is destined for South Korea for the first few months. That said, I would expect it to show up at some point with Dynamism, who are good at making Viliv products available outside of South Korea. Additionally, we may also find at Best Buy.
So with all of the talk about making a purchase, you may have guessed that I am excited about this release. Well, that is so partially based on the specs, but also due to the few minutes of time that I was able to spend hands on with the device back at CES.
Anyway, in terms of features, the Viliv P3 Prime PMP will be unique in that it dual boots — it is running a mix of Android 2.1 and Windows CE 6.0. Additionally, you will find a 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen display, an 800MHz ARM Cortex processor, accelerometer, Wi-Fi, microUSB connectivity and a microSDHC card slot. Other goodies include video playback of of up to 720p quality and storage options as high as 32GB.
Sadly though, despite the official listing on the Viliv website, we are still unsure of the pricing. All things considered I am not really sure why it has a dual boot option, but still it sounds neat. You can expect to see more on the Viliv P3 as information comes available because this is a device that has caught my interest.
