Google Chrome For Mac Gets Deemed As Stable [Google Moves Chrome For Mac From Beta To Stable, Current Beta Users Will Be Auto-Updated]
As of today Chrome for Mac has officially joined its Windows and Linux counterparts as a stable web browser. This of course marks the five month journey since it was originally released.

The news is short and simple and coming by way of the Official Google Mac Blog;
“Today, I’m happy to announce that Google Chrome for Mac is being promoted out of beta to our stable channel.”
As for what if anything that current Chrome for Mac users can expect. Well, according to the details there should be stability and performance as well as the “polish that every Mac user expects.” Well said, and although I had switched from Firefox and began using Chrome as my default once the extensions became available, its still nice to know that it has been determined as ready.

Other goodies that you can expect in Chrome for Mac, and this list is maybe more to help convince others to make the switch, include speed and the more than 4,500 currently available extensions. In terms of extensions there are ones for just about anything you could want. Some of my personal favorites include Clip to Evernote, Google Mail Checker, Google Mail Checker Plus, Google Voice (by Google), MyShortcuts, RSS Subscription Extension (by Google) and last but certainly not least — Xmarks Bookmarks Sync.
Additionally, Chrome for Mac is now able to shift into full screen mode with the Command + Shift + F! hotkey.
As for current Chrome for Mac users on the beta, you can either sit tight and wait for your update to come automatically, or hit the via link below and grab the download for yourself.
Finally, Google Chrome for Mac requires OS X 10.5 or later and will work on Intel based Mac computers. And just in case you are not yet convinced on giving Chrome a chance, there is also language translation built-in, themes, tabs that are stable and independent as well as an incognito mode that will help keep your browser history unrecorded.
