Toshiba Satellite P505 Gaming Notebook Appears

Toshiba’s latest monster multimedia notebook made the rounds at CES but now it’s officially at a retailer near you, waiting to be ordered. The notebook features some beefy stats, like a Core i7 processor, along with 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Toshiba is pushing it as a gaming machine, and with it’s lunch-tray like dimensions, it can almost be considered a workstation notebook PC.

Here are the complete stats for the Toshiba Satellite P505:

• 18.4-inch LCD Display (1,680 x 945)
• 4GB DDR3 RAM
• 500GB HDD
• NVIDIA GeForce 310M Graphics (512MB VRAM)

The folks at Toshiba are the kings at these super-sized multimedia laptops that do just about anything. In case you’ve never had a 18-inch display, it takes away a fair bit a portability (don’t even think about using this thing on a plane), but one supposes that’s the price you pay for having a huge screen.

It’s currently on sale at the Microsoft Store for $1,149, which is a fair price for a laptop of this screen size and processor.
