Survey Finds iPad Owners Satisfied [ChangeWave Research Finds That 91% Are Pleased With The iPad, Although They Still Want Flash]
The folks at ChangeWave Research did a survey of 153 iPad owners, an admittedly small sample size, and unshockingly, they found that they liked the iPad, really liked it, with 91% either being “Very Satisfied” or “Somewhat Satisfied” with the Apple tablet.

Here were the results of the iPad Satisfaction survey:
- Very Satisfied – 74%
- Somewhat Satisfied – 17%
- Somewhat Unsatisfied – 1%
- Very Unsatisfied – 1%
- Don’t Know – 8%
ChangeWave’s research folks did note that the levels of device satisfaction for the iPad match those of the iPhone. So, folks are generally happy with the iPad, as you can see. What did they like most about the iPad? 21% said that they liked the Screen Size while 15% said they liked the Ease of Use.
What do you dislike the most about the iPad? Well, the answer shouldn’t surprise you, as 11% of those surveyed wanted Flash on the iPad. 9% didn’t like ‘Internet Connectivity’ (what?) which makes little sense. 7% obviously don’t know how to use the app store as they thought there was a lack of apps on the iPad and another 7% though the iPad was too heavy.
Despite the dislikes, ChangeWave thought it was important to note that the “dislikes” were pretty generally scattered. Although the demand for Flash hit the most at 11%, they say that there was no ‘smoking gun’ dislike that affected all users.
What are people using their iPads for? Well, internet browsing takes the cake as 83% of those surveyed say that they use their iPad for web surfing.
