Scosche has some nice accessory products available, and it seems they are continually adding to that collection. The latest product, which was actually announced a few months back has gone on sale today — its the flipSYNC.

As to what exactly a flipSYNC is, its a keychain USB charge and sync cable that is said to be about the size of a standard car alarm remote. Except the obvious difference here is that this will not arm/disarm you car, but instead allow you to charge and/or sync your iPhone or iPod touch.

The Scosche flipSYNC is priced at $19.99 and could be a nice accessory to have in addition to another Scosche product — the Revive II Dual USB charger for your home and car. These two combined should mean you will always be able to charge your gadgets regardless of where you happen to be.

And just in case you are not a Apple person, there is also a second model available that comes with a standard sized mini & microUSB connection. And that model can be used by a variety of gadgets including your MP3 player, smartphone, digital camera or portable gaming device. This model is also priced at $19.99.

Both the iPhone and mini/microUSB models are offering USB 2.0 speeds so data transfer using this keychain should not be an issue.

In terms of availability, like I mentioned they are shipping as of today. As far as making a purchase, the flipSYNC can be found online at Scosche.com or BestBuy.com. Additionally, it will also be available in regular brick-and-mortar Best Buy locations.

Personally, spending twenty bucks and never having to remember taking a cable with me in the car sounds like a good deal. The only drawback there is that this is a keychain and not easily used when the keys are in the ingintion. But hey, just a minor detail.
