HTC Vision Android Smartphone Rumored As Higher-End Desire
Thanks to Google I/O we have been given a fairly decent amount of Google and Android related news over the past few days. And it was actual news at that, as opposed to rumors, except today the I/O related news has slowed and we have rumors of the HTC Vision Android smartphone.

Now that alone is not much to get excited over, after all, we have seen plenty of Android related smartphone rumors in the past. However, the HTC Vision looks like it will feature something that HTC has not done in a while — a hardware QWERTY.
First things first though, as of now there are few details available. In fact, the HTC Vision name is still being billed as a code name. Of course that should not stop anyone from speculating a little bit. Basically, what we have read so far is that the HTC Vision will be very similar in design to the HTC Desire, with the obvious addition of the hardware QWERTY keyboard. And yes, that image is clearly just a mock-up. In fact, its a mix of the HTC Desire and the Touch Pro 2. Still, its enough to give a good idea of what we could see in the future.
Anyway, just like the lack of images, we also have a serious lack of specs. But once again, the Interwebs have come though with some speculation. In this case, and based on what we have seen so far from HTC, the Vision could offer goodies such as Android 2.2, Sense UI, a 3.7 inch touchscreen display and 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
If nothing else, the Vision does seem like it could serve as one of the promised HTC handsets that are expected to arrive in 2010. In the meantime, it looks like we are going to be left waiting for some actual details surface.
