Vodafone may have already offered UK consumers the ability to register for updates concerning the Samsung Wave but UK vendor Mobiles.co.uk have beat Vodafone in actually offering the Wave as available to preorder as of now with a choice of contract options with the aforementioned network as well as Orange that’ll ee the Samsung Wave in your pocket from later this month for free (dependant on the contract you decide to sign up to).

For those unacquainted with the 3G Samsung Wave, the device, which is powered by a 1GHz processor and which packs a 3.3” Super AMOLED touchscreen display offering up 480 x 800 resolution, comes with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and face detection that offers sufficient resolution to capture 720p HD video. Of course, it’s also built around the much hyped bada OS whilst also running with the TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

Additionally, in terms of multimedia performance, the Samsung Wave will delight many in offering both DivX and Xvid support whilst also packing an integrated FM radio with RDS and 2GB of onboard memory which can be supplemented with up to 32GB of storage thanks to an onboard microSD card slot. There’s also A-GPS and, in terms of wireless connectivity, both Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi (b/g/n) are in evidence.
