Palm Pre Plus & Pixi Plus Coming to O2 UK on May 28th

More good news for UK based Palm fans, or should I say webOS fans as that is what makes the Pre and the Pixi shine. Either way, the news comes courtesy of O2 UK who have announced that the Pre Plus and the Pixi Plus will be available for purchase beginning on May 28th. And for those of you without a calendar handy, that is just a short 9 days from today.

The good news here is that depending on the monthly tariff that you choose, you will be able to get either the Pre Plus or Pixi Plus for free. Of course, for some of the lower priced monthly tariffs you will be paying upwards of £99 for the handset itself. And to further add to that, you will also be able to pick from either 18 or 24 month tariffs.

As for breaking that down a little further. The Pre Plus will be free for 18 month tariffs with a monthly price of £40 or higher. Alternatively, the Pre Plus will be free on 24 month tariffs with a monthly price of £35 or higher.

Moving on to the Pixi Plus and you have a handset that will be free on an 18 month tariff with a monthly price of £35 or higher and free on a 24 month tariff with a monthly price of £30 or higher.

As for the lowest priced monthly tariffs, expect to pay £99 for the Pre Plus and £49 for the Pixi Plus.

Additionally, all of the available plans do have some perks such as unlimited texts and unlimited data and Wi-Fi. The monthly minutes range anywhere from as low as 100 per month up to an unlimited option.

Otherwise, not much else to mention in terms of either handset as they are the same as we have come to either love or hate depending on who you may ask.
