Apple iPod touch With 2MP Camera Spotted In Vietnam [Prototype iPod touch With 2MP Camera On Back Becomes Latest Unreleased Apple Device To Surface In Vietnam]
And just like that we have another leaked prototype Apple device that has surfaced in Vietnam. Of course, most of you will likely remember the MacBook as well as the few rounds dealing with the iPhone 4G. But this latest, this one is one that should make more than a few people happy — its an iPod touch with a 2 megapixel camera on the back.

So, the deal is that these images seem to be the real deal. That said, I am far from the expert that is going to prove them to be photoshopped. However the general vibe on the interwebs seems to be that these images are in fact legit. Not to mention, the iPhone HD has fallen in line with what we learned from the original Gizmodo debacle, and that MacBook also came true. Given that, a track record of accuracy seems to have been established.
Anyway, onward with the details. The iPod touch that is pictured is still nothing more than a prototype, as evidence of the DVT-1 marking on the back. And just for reference, the DVT stands for “design verification test” and according to John Gruber of Daring Fireball that is typically designated to devices “very late in the game.” In other words, this could be close to, if not the final design.
But moving forward here, other details include the iPod touch having been made by Foxconn and marked with the designation of “Unit #0010.” Otherwise, according to the label on the back, this model is sporting 32GB of Samsung storage and the camera is a Jabil/Mflex OV2665-6S.
Finally, according to the site where these were posted, the iPod touch was/is running iPhone OS 3.1 and they also believe a 64GB model is going to be made. With that, I can only wonder which Apple device is going to be next — maybe it will be a 2nd generation iPad. Just kidding, we likely have some time before that happens.
