Lenovo IdeaCentre Q150 Nettop Announced

Lenovo Q150 Nettop With Atom D510 CPU & 1080p Video Playback To Be Available In June For $249

Lenovo has recently announced the latest in their IdeaCentre lineup of nettop PC’s. The new model is the Q150, which is serving as the follow up to the current Q110. Overall, the new Q150 is sporting similar looks, however there are some key changes on the inside. Not to mention a few optional accessories that can be added along with. Oh, and the Q150 is capable of 1080p video playback, which should make this a decent addition to a home theater setup.

Lets begin with the important parts — the when and the how much. In short, the IdeaCentre Q150 will be available in June at which time it will sell for $249. Though it is worth mentioning that the $249 price tag is only a starting price and depending on the configuration options you choose, you can expect to pay quite a bit more.

Getting on to the features. The Lenovo IdeaCentre Q150 will have either a 1.66GHz dual core Intel Atom D510 processor or a 1.66GHz single core Intel Atom D410 processor. Other specs include NVIDIA ION + Intel GMA 3150 graphics, up to 2GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, audio in/out, HDMI, VGA and is Vesa wall mountable.

Additionally, the storage options will consist of either a 160, 250, 320 or 500GB hard drive and the Q150 will be running Windows 7 Home with options for Basic or Premium. And since this may be sitting along side your home entertainment center setup, the measurements may be important to consider. In this case, you can expect the nettop to measure in at 0.78 x 6.77 x 6.02 inches. The other item for home theater users comes in the form of sound output, and here you will find 5.1 channel audio with S/PDIF out.

As for those optional accessories, they are set to include a keyboard and mouse as well as multimedia remote control with a trackball and QWERTY keyboard.
