iPad Quirky Cradle Comes with a Twist
After the ClamCase iPad case and stand we’ve seen the other day it’s time now to look at another interesting accessory for Apple’s iPad. The Quirky Cradle in the pictures below acts as a lap desk and comes with a useful twist.

The Quirky Cradle is definitely a great accessory for those of you that plan to use the tablet “while lounging on your couch or lying in bed.” The cradle is a lightweight lap desk for the device that comes with a special twisting plate in the middle. Not only does the plate hold the iPad in a secure position but it also lets you twist it without removing it from the support. Thus you’ll be enjoying iPad in portrait and landscape position in no time without actually lifting it off the cradle.

But here’s what the Quirky Cradle will offer you:
- A minimalist bent design constructed from Plyboo (bamboo plywood, a sustainable alternative to wood).
- An integrated circular plate, made from matte, soft-touch plastic, that allows you to rotate your iPad between portrait and landscape views.
- A foam cushion with woven covering built into the underside of the desk, which rests on your lap for added comfort.
- Compact dimensions: 21in wide x 4in tall x 13in deep x 1/4in thick.
Naturally this Quirky Cradle doesn’t come free or cheap. The “lap desk with a twist” will be available for $58, so you’ll have to ask yourself just how frequently are you going to use it once you purchase it? However, if you want to get one now, the Quirky Cradle will only cost you $52.50, which apparently is the presale price for now.

So what do you say, folks? Does your iPad need a Quirky Cradle?
On a different note we have noticed a weird pairing there, an iPad with a Nokia 1100. Really guys, wasn’t there and iPhone in range in order for you to make your point?
