Cellular South Promising "A True Game Changer"

Cellular South may not be a part of the big four here in the US cellular market, but that is not to say they do not make a splash at times. Most recently we have learned that they have plans to launch the HTC Legend, of course we are still waiting on more information regarding that release.

Anyway, as of now they are currently offering the HTC Hero, which coincidentally is priced at $99.99 and being offered as a buy one get one free deal. Personally that is not all that bad of an offer, especially when you also add in the “switch now and your early termination fee is on us” deal. But alas, it looks like a wait may be in order if you are planning to go Android with Cellular South.

A recently listed promo page on the Cellular South website is touting “a true game changer.” What the mystery device is, is just that, a mystery. It even is completed with the red drop cloth covering the device. Of course, the red drop cloth is sporting the little Android dude.

But more importantly is the fact that they are hinting at multiple devices.

“The Android revolution continues! Coming soon, you’ll have access to a whole new lineup of Android smartphones, with features that will change smartphones forever.”

And as a part of that lineup, one will be the game changer. As of now it looks like we are going to have to wait just a bit longer to see the reveal. Personally, I am thinking the main device will be the Legend, but maybe not. Unfortunately, there is no estimate given as to when the big reveal will happen, however they did provide a place to “sign up now” in order to receive more information. Which I did, just as a case of good measure.
