White Samsung NX10 Limited Edition Micro Four-Thirds Camera Coming on May 7

New Samsung NX10 Micro Four-Thirds Camera to Come in Black & Mostly White Colors This May

In early January, Samsung unveiled its latest micro four-thirds camera, the NX10 and we were virtually there to show you this new baby. Now it looks like Samsung has decided to offer a limited edition of its NX10 camera to some of its faithful customers in certain markets around the world.

I am talking of course about the black and mostly white Samsung NX10 in the picture above which is now said to arrive on May 7. Unfortunately not all of you will be able to get one of this white limited edition micro four-thirds, at least not right away.

The white NX10 camera will be available initially in Korea, the Netherlands, China, the USA and Taiwan, in no particular order, but we have no idea how much it will cost. Since it is a limited edition device we do expect it to have some sort of a premium price tag, not that it should stop fans from actually buying it.

Besides the extra coat of white paint, nothing has really changed and you can expect the NX10 micro four-thirds to offer you basically the same features you’ve already gotten used to.

In case you don’t know what this white beast can offer you then here’s a quick specs and features recap for you:

    1. Frank Bloss says:

The Samsung NX10 has an APS-C format (3:2) CMOS sensor (23.4×15.6mm), such as found in many DSLRs that are larger and heavier due to inclusion of a pentaprism and mirror (absent in the NX10). Micro Four Third (4:3) system cameras, such as Olympus E-P2 have somewhat smaller sensors (17.3x13mm). Thus the Samsung NX10 provides 62% more sensor area than a corresponding 4/3 system camera, which should be beneficial for noise reduction at high ISO speeds.
