Motorola RAZR3 Confirmed as RAZR3 Details Emerge in Video Demo [Motorola set to Resuscitate RAZR Series With New Touchscreen Handset – RAZR3 Not Dead After All]

Those of you with good memories, and, perhaps, a particular penchant for Motorola’s range of RAZR handsets, may recall that the Motorola RAZR3 was initially scheduled to release in late ’09 or early this year but all suddenly went quiet until now thanks to the RAZR3 surfacing in a video demo.

Motorola RAZR3 Exposed

Full details and specifications are pretty scant right now but what the video presentation concerning the GSM Motorola RAZR3 serves to confirm is that the handset, which takes the form of a flip dual screen device, comes with a larger touchscreen display of unspecified proportions, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and packs a GSM HSPA modem, integrated GPS and comes with nuance voice recognition capabilities which will allow you to command handset functions, and call contacts, by voice.

Additional details confirmed by the video include a built in FM radio and an integrated audio player (and that it utilises the same BX50 battery as the Motorola RAZR2). There’s no confirmation regarding integrated GPS which, though mentioned in the video, doesn’t appear to be in evidence based on what we’ve seen – albeit that GPS was planned so perhaps its indeed there and we missed it.

As you can see from the video, there’s not a great deal of in depth information here but at least the video serves to confirm that the RAZR3 is far from dead but, seemingly, has merely been delayed whilst Motorola concentrated on running with various Android devices.

The moment more information reaches us we will, of course, act to get you informed asap.
