Verizon Droid Incredible Quickly Sells Out With Verizon Wireless [Verizon's Online Inventory For Droid Incredible Smartphone Quickly Depleted]

As Chris was kind enough to mention earlier this morning, the Droid Incredible went on sale with Verizon Wireless as of today and it is priced at $199.99 on a two year agreement. But not to derail the point of this post — Verizon has apparently sold out of the initial online inventory.

Those still interested in placing an order are now being greeted with a message that is reading “due to high demand, this device will ship by 5/4.” Yup, it seems that if you hesitated in placing your order, you will be waiting a little while. Fortunately, May 4th is not all that far away. In reality its only 5 days away, and a 5 days with a weekend thrown in. Still, that was quick, of course given all of the pre-launch hype this delay comes with little surprise.

But more importantly, there are still other sites where you can place your order and even save some money as compared to shopping direct with Verizon. The Droid Incredible is priced at $149.99 with Wirefly and that is a flat out price, in other words — no rebates to worry about.

Additionally, if you dont mind waiting a few extra days, you can also pick up a Droid Incredible by way of Amazon who have it listed for $99.99. Though it is worth noting that Amazon is currently listing the Incredible as having a ship time of “9 – 10 business days.” Still for only 100 bucks I would be willing to wait the few extra days.

Aside from online availability, you can always leave your house and shop in a real-world brick and mortar store. Shocking yes, but that seems to be your best option to have a Droid Incredible in your hands. Though, after spending some time in various Android related forums around the web, I can suggest that if you are going to try that route, you may want to hurry up. Yup, some are starting to report that local Verizon retail stores are also beginning to run low.
