LG Aloha, LG Fathom & BlackBerry Bold 9650 To Launch With Verizon In May

Microsoft KIN ONE & KIN TWO Tipped For Pre-Orders To Begin On May 6th, With BlackBerry Bold 9650, LG Aloha & LG Fathom To Arrive Later In May

Earlier today the Droid Incredible launched with Verizon, but it seems as if there will soon be another Android device coming available. And for non-Android lovers, it looks like there will also be a handful of other devices that are expected to be arriving right around the same time. So far we have yet to see anything officially announced, but why should we let that stop us from sharing the details as they come. So far it looks like five new handsets will be arriving with Verizon this May — some of which we knew were coming and some are coming as a surprise.

Lets begin with the ones we knew about, the Microsoft KIN ONE and the KIN TWO. The latest details call for both of these to go up for pre-sale as of May 6th. And in addition to the KIN’s we are also hearing word that the recently announced BlackBerry Bold 9650 will also come available in May. Of course, we have already heard the official word that the Bold 9650 is heading to Sprint and given that Verizon is also a CDMA based carrier the Bold announcement is not much of a shocker.

Moving on though, we still have two more handsets to mention — the LG Aloha and the LG Fathom and similar to the Bold, both of these are expected to be released sometime during the month of May. As of right now we do not have any pricing on either of these LG handsets, nor do we have anything yet in regards to the KIN’s or BlackBerry Bold 9650. That said the Bold 9650 will likely be somewhere close to the Sprint price, which is $199.99.

Getting back to the LG handsets, first up is the Fathom which is a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone. Other features of the phone include a large touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard. And last but certainly not least we have the LG Aloha which is coming in as another in the ever growing lineup of Verizon powered Android phones. In fact, the Aloha is going to come with Android 2.1. Other features of the Aloha include a 1GHz processor and a 5 megapixel camera that can capture and record 720p quality video.

All said and done, it looks like May is going to be an exciting time for Verizon. Personally, I am interested in the KIN phones, maybe not so much as I want to purchase one, but more just to see how Verizon handles the pricing in regards to data.
