Google I/O Conference Schedule Posted [Google Posts I/O Conference Details, Expect To Hear About Android, Chrome, Geo, Social Web, Wave & Maybe Android 2.2 Froyo]

Google has recently posted the event schedule for the 2010 Google I/O developer conference. And while this conference is aimed at developers, in the past there has been some interesting information come available because of it, and for that reason its worth mentioning and paying attention to.

The official description for the event reads as;

“Google I/O brings together thousands of developers for two days of deep technical content, focused on building the next generation of web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Google Chrome, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more.”

Google is also touting having 80 sessions with over 3,000 developers on hand as well as more than 100 demonstrations from developers looking to spend a little time in front of the spotlight. Of course, you cannot forget that the press (ie: tech & gadget bloggers) will be on hand to make sure the highlights are properly covered for the masses.

As for the individual sessions, they are broken down between the two days of the conference and include general subjects such as Android, App Engine, Chrome, Enterprise, Geo, Google API’s, Google Web Toolkit, Social Web, Wave as well as slightly more general Fireside chats and Tech Talks.

If you check out the schedule, most of the time slots are filled in with talks and events. Some of those include A beginners guide to Android, Bringing Google to your site, Google Buzz API’s, and developing HTML5 apps for Chrome and Google OS.

The fireside chats include events with the Google Chrome and Chrome OS teams and more.

Of course, there are also some that read like gibberish to me, but that is simply because I am not one that falls into a developer category on any level. But perhaps most interesting to see are the slots that are still listed as TBA, or to be announced.

A few of those TBA labels fall into the Chrome category, Wave category, API category and most interesting are the ones in the Android category. Could this be leading to the Android 2.2 Froyo announcement. One could hope, but that is just a little bit of speculation on my end.
