AT&T Offers iPad Wi-Fi + 3G Data Plan Details
The Apple iPad Wi-Fi + 3G release is almost upon us, and just in case you forgot, it will be available this Friday April 30th. And perhaps a little more important are the details as to what you can expect in terms of data plans from AT&T. First and foremost we already knew that there would be two plans available — a 250MB plan for $14.99 a month and an unlimited plan for $29.99 a month.

The nice part here is that you really have little to worry about in terms of data use and overages. For example, the unlimited data plan truly is unlimited, there is no 5GB cap or anything along those lines. Additionally, if you are on the 250MB plan and go over your plan will simply expire and at that time you can just add another.
Of course, it should be hard to go over without realizing because AT&T will offer warnings when you reach the 20 percent, 10 percent and zero percent levels.
In addition to the 3G access that comes with the plans, you will also have unlimited access to any of the AT&T Wi-Fi Hotspot locations. Of which there are over 20,000.
Moving on, these plans are all month to month so you can sign up and/or cancel at any time. The catch with that is the plans do auto renew each 30 days, so if you just want one months access, you will need to make sure you cancel before that 30 day window comes to an end. And yes, the data plans are on a month, or more specifically 30 day basis. In other words, if you sign up for service on April 30 your plan will auto renew in exactly 30 days.
That pretty much sums the details up, however you can read the PDF that was released below, as well as download it for yourself by hitting the source (Via) link below.
