Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini & X10 Mini Pro Rumored For Rogers Release In May Or June

Xperia X10 Mini & X10 Mini Pro Rumors Continue, X10 Mini To Be $49.99 & X10 Mini Pro To Be $69.99, Both Available In Early Summer

In what can only be described as the latest in the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro series of rumors — we are now seeing reports of a release time frame as well as some pricing. And it should go without saying that these are anything but official, still we like rumors.

So far, we already knew that the Xperia X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro were headed to Rogers, and up until this point it was suggested that we would be seeing a summertime release. Well in what may come as good news for anyone that had decided to wait, that summer release looks like it may be coming slightly earlier than expected — sometime in May or June.

Moving on past that part of the rumor, and on to the next we can now mention some pricing, and what I would describe as fair pricing. The Xperia X10 Mini should be $49.99 with the Mini Pro slightly higher at $69.99. Both of those prices also mean a three year agreement attached. But that is standard with Rogers, so nothing surprising there.

As for where these are coming from, the source is one from MobileSyrup who is described as being a “reliable Rogers tipster.” Take that how you want, but if you ask me the release time and price both seem realistic. That said, it looks like we are going to have to sit tight and wait for something official from Rogers.

Finally, just to recap some of the specs, the Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro will feature a 2.5 inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and video recording, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Android OS 1.6. The differences between the X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro would be the slideout QWERTY keyboard that is found on the Pro model.
