HTC Droid Incredible’s Sense UI Is Here to Stay (Forever!)
The HTC Droid Incredible has been one of the top headlines of all the tech-dedicated blogs, TFTS included, until the lost iPhone 4G saga hit the web. What better way to steal the buzz of a very hot Android device especially on the very first pre-order week, than to show the next-gen iPhone in all its glory?

We’ll leave complicated conspiracy theories aside to focus on one of the Droid Incredible’s most important features, the Sense UI. As you may already know HTC has improved its custom UI that sits neatly on top of Android 2.1 but that doesn’t mean that every Verizon customer out there is happy with it. In fact there are people that are already asking whether they can disable the Sense UI or not on the Droid Incredible.
In case you are not aware of it, earlier HTC Android smartphones that also come with Sense UI on board will offer you a choice between Sense UI or the regular Android home screen. The HTC Desire, also a very hot Android smartphone currently selling in various markets worldwide, has this choice enabled, but the HTC Droid Incredible apparently doesn’t.
Further research has shown that the Droid Incredible doesn’t have the files it would require in order to make the choice available to users which means you’ll have to wait for some custom ROM to appear if you really hate the Sense user interface.
On the other hand the Sense UI is really a great user interface that will surely not hinder you Android experience on the Droid Incredible. In fact so many Android lovers have tried to port Sense UI on non HTC Android handsets so it’s a little strange to hear now that people don’t want the updated Sense UI on the Droid Incredible. Is Vanilla Android that good compared to the Sense UI?
Let’s not forget that other manufacturers have also come up with various Sense-like user interfaces. We have Motoblur on Motorola Android phones, TouchWiz on Samsung handsets, Liquid on Acer devices and Timescape & Mediascape on Sony Ericsson Android smartphones.
What say you Droid Incredible fans? Do you want Sense UI on top of Android OS or not?

DO NOT WANT!!!
I WANT Sense on my Incredible, but I also want the CHOICE to disable it. That is, after all, what makes Android more compelling than the other mobile OS options.
I would also like the choice to disable it.
