It looks as though Sprint may be set to get the jump on Verizon in terms of being the first US carrier to offer up the BlackBerry Bold 9650 stateside – or at least this appears to the case according to a leaked image of Sprint’s product sheet.

Of course at this juncture, the release date of the Sprint BlackBerry Bold 9650 hasn’t been officially confirmed and, for that matter, neither has the official release date of the Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9650 but, should the release date listed on the featured leaked Sprint product sheet of May 16th transpire to ring true and reports concerning a May 27th Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9650 date of availability also pan out this would give Sprint the jump on Verizon of over a week – making Sprint the first US carrier of offer the Bold 9650.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is expected to act to replace the Tour with both carriers and, whilst the leaked image of the Sprint product sheet looks genuine enough, its hard not to remain slightly sceptical as to whether the Sprint BlackBerry Bold 9650 will indeed hit the carrier on the stated date of May 16th what with US consumers having to wait for the device to be made available stateside for so long.
