iPhone 4G: AT&T Banned Employees From Taking Vacations In June [Still Unconfirmed, But Sources Report AT&T Has Gone Into Vacation Blocking Mode For June 2010 Fourth-gen iPhone Launch]

The iPhone 4G rumor train is going full steam once again, the latest suggests that AT&T has blocked employees from taking vacation during the month of June. Of course, this goes along nicely with the already rumored June 22 release date.

And as you can most likely guess without this silly warning — this does not officially confirm the 4th generation iPhone release. In fact the vacation block has not even been officially verified as of yet. At present, the story is coming courtesy of the Boy Genius Report who are citing “multiple sources.”

But then again, this does follow the same path that we saw AT&T take before the previous iPhones were released. Also, interesting enough is that it seems At&T only does vacation blocking for an iPhone release, that is, at least based on previous history.

As for specs and the overall design of the 4th generation iPhone. It looks like some have wrote that unibody aluminum casing that we posted about yesterday off as a fake. Personally I agree, though I still think its fair to believe we will see a 64GB iPhone this time around.

So hey, here is to a June release for the 4th generation iPhone. Are you ready, are you planning to get one? Will you even be eligible for an upgrade? So much to think about. If so, at least you have some time to start putting aside some cash before the big day arrives. Me, I will most likely ‘attend’ my local launch but will be passing on the phone itself.

Personally I am almost more interested in what the official name will be, we are hearing it referred to as the iPhone 4G, iPhone HD, 4th generation iPhone and while they all may ring true, its getting old trying to cover all basis when typing. As always, you can expect more coverage on this as we learn more.

Actually this isn't true. There was a time period in March where they were not allowing any employees to take paid time off but nothing has been said about the month of June.

Just talked to an ATT rep tonight actually who was starting his week vacation after his shift ended, 5 minutes after hanging up with me. Which would be June, incase anyone didn't realize.
