MacBook Pro Refresh Really Real; Some Specs Revealed [New MacBook Pro Coming on Today as Online Apple Store Is Down]
That’s right folks, today, April 13, is the Tuesday some of you have been anxiously waiting for a couple of months already. Apple is indeed going to launch those new MacBook Pro notebooks equipped with 2010 Intel Core processors and various other upgrades.

As we speak, the Apple Store has been taken down and we’re waiting for Apple to update it. As always “[They] are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly.” We’ve seen the same announcement just before Valentine’s Day but back then Apple simply decorated the virtual store for the love celebration. Now on the other hand there can’t be anything else but the MacBook Pro and maybe MacBook Air happening.
Like always before such an event we already have some specs and features, not that we haven’t seen lots of similar rumors in the weeks preceding the actual refresh.
The new MacBook Pros will each come with 4GB of RAM and a choice of processors: 2.4GHz and 2.66GHz CPUs for 13-inch models, 2.4GHz, 2.55GHz and 2.66GHz CPUs for 15-inch models while the top of the line 17-inch MacBook Pro will get a 2.53GHz processor. These are, of course Intel Core i5 and i7 processors although we have no idea what laptop will get what yet.
Other specs include different types of screen options, Glossy, High Resolution Glossy and High Resolution Glossy with Anti-Glare and some models will sport up to 512GB of SSD storage. But that will cost you some extra cash, of course.
We don’t have actual prices but I suspect they will be available shortly so you can expect us to bring you all the details as soon as Apple has finished redecorating its online Apple Store.
So what about you, MacBook Pro fans, what are you planning to buy today? What’s your budget for your next MacBook Pro?
