iPhone OS 4.0 Jailbreak Already Achieved?

Newly Announced iPhone OS 4.0 Jailbroken in Only a Day; Apple Surely Working on an Anti-Jailbreaking Solution

As we have expected iPhone OS 4.0 has been jailbroken and it allhappened a day after the official announcement. Just like with iPhone OS 3.2 which was jailbroken a day after the iPad’s launch, we’re neither surprised nor impressed.

I mean sure, the guys behind this initiative are definitely worth complementing and lots of iPhone users will be grateful to find out that iPhone OS 3.2 and iPhone OS 4.0 are that easy to jailbreak. We are simply not impressed this time because it’s too early to talk about iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreak and unlock programs.

Apple is merely offering us a glimpse at what the future of iPhone OS 4.0 looks like. And with at least two months to go until iPhone 4G comes out, the company has plenty of time to try and stop the iPhone Dev Team and any other hacker out there to jailbreak the new OS.

Will Apple succeed at keeping its iPhone OS 4.0 handsets jailed and locked? I highly doubt it but I do expect them to put up a good fight.

The very short video below shows us that iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreaking is possible. And it’s being rumored that the iPhone Dev Team have been using an exploit found in iPhone OS 3.1.3 which was already used for making the unreleased version of iPhone OS 3.1.3 jailbreak.

So if you’re looking for doing some Cydia multitasking this summer then you’re probably anxious to see what the iPhone Dev Team has in store for iPhone OS 4.0. Well it may take a while until a jailbreaking solution will be made public so in the mean time you’ll just have to make do with what’s available out there.

Needless to say, any jailbreaking and unlocking will void your warranty and can cause irreparable damage to your device. Furthermore we don’t support any such attempts so contacting us for helping you perform such wizardry is not an option you should consider. But, on the other hand, everybody out there is free to do whatever they want to their current gadgets, aren’t they?
