Toshiba Camileo Camcorders Coming to the USA Officially
Toshiba has announced today that its Camileo camcorder line is finally ready to hit U.S. soil. In case you’re looking for a brand new digital camcorder then you might choose one of Toshiba’s Camileo models, the S20, H30 and X100 which are going to hit stores on April 19, in less than two weeks from now.

Ron Smith, vice president of marketing at Toshiba America, commented on these three Camileo camcorders:
The CAMILEO line is a very natural extension of our consumer electronics offerings in the U.S. and provides the quality consumers expect from the Toshiba brand. The line is meeting a growing consumer demand for affordable HD camcorders that make sharing memories with friends and family easy and fun.
These new camcorders will all be able to offer you1080p Full HD resolution, a 3-inch LCD monitor, YouTube support for instant uploading to the Internet and up to 32GB of SD/SDHC memory card upgrade. All cameras will also come with HDMI and USB 2.0 connectivity which means you’ll be able to watch your HD home-made videos almost instantly. Now that we know what their common specs and features are, let’s look at each one individually so you can already choose your favorite.
The Camileo S20 comes with 4x digital zoom and 5-megapixel digital still photos capabilities. The camcorder is the cheapest of the bunch costing just $179.99.
The Camileo H30 comes with 5x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, 10-megapixel shooter and a price tag of $249.99.
The Camileo X100 is the most expensive of them and, for $399.99 you will get a 10x optical and digital zoom and a 10-megapixel shooter.
