Shuttle J1 4100G SFF Gaming PC Revealed

Shuttle's Offers Solid Performance Components For Low Budgets

Shuttle has released a new small form factor gaming PC with mid-level components for an optimal gaming experience on a lower budget.  The Shuttle J1 4100G SFF Gaming PC continues Shuttle’s focus on slim designs while maintaining solid performance.

The top options of the new Shuttle J1 4100G SFF Gaming PC include an Intel Core 2 Quad processor, 8GB of DDR2 memory and up to 4TB of storage via two drive bays.  For visuals, the 4100G offers an optional NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 (with DVI + VGA + HDMI) or the standard integrated GMA X4100.  Other features include a Blu-Ray combo drive, Realtek ALC662 audio and loads of connectivity both front- and back-mounted.

While the Shuttle J1 4100G SFF Gaming PC has been available in Europe for some time, it is now available in the US starting at $889.  Shuttle is offering a few free upgrades with the 4100G, specifically a free processor upgrade, a free copy of Red Faction Guerilla and a free gaming mouse.  While it may be a bit difficult to get excited about a gaming PC that doesn’t boast an Intel Core i7 or other i-series processor (or a bit more serious graphics processor), the goal here is gaming on a budget.  With that, the new Shuttle J1 4100G SFF Gaming PC is a solid option.
