Leaf Aptus-II 10R Digital Camera Back Revealed
Leaf has officially debuted a new medium-format digital camera back with a rotating sensor for convenient orientation changes on the fly. The Leaf Aptus-IIi 10R digital camera back features a 56MP sensor that can be switched between portrait and landscape orientation with the push of a button.

Those of us who own small format cameras may not realize the significance of a rotating sensor. While a simple rotation of the camera itself will give the desired outcome, medium and large format cameras are a bit more complicated. To make things easier, the new Leaf Aptus-II 10R digital camera back comes with a rotating sensor to switch between landscape and portrait orientation as needed– without needing to remove the camera back and rotate it manually. The rotating sensor in the new Leaf features 56MP, while the rest of the basic stats include a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, an 80-800 ISO range, and compatibility with medium and large format cameras and lens options.
The new Leaf Aptus-II 10R digital camera back will be available, converted from the Euro, at roughly $33,700. Ship dates haven’t yet been announced, but if you’ve got the cash on hand to pick up one of these, it’s likely you’re already in-the-know…
