JooJoo Tablet Delayed Again, Pre-Order Shipments Have Yet To Arrive
If you happened to pre-order a JooJoo tablet, you already know the unit didn’t arrive on March 29th, as promised. The much maligned, yet very promising JooJoo tablets have brought more drama, this time seeing a delay in shipping and more legal questions about the one-time “CrunchPad”.

The JooJoo tablet’s last delay was entirely understandable, especially in light of the UI and control enhancements shown off on March 11th. Yet March 29th, and now March 30th, have come and gone and a JooJoo has yet to arrive in the hands of a preorder customer. What’s more, while the Apple iPad pre-orders will ship in colossal numbers, Gizmodo has received a tip that only 90 JooJoo tablets have been produced for pre-order. This doesn’t suggest that only 90 customers order a JooJoo, but that its maker, Fusion Garage, is only fulfilling 90 during this shipment. Ouch.
The JooJoo tablet is not free of legal issues, as the fight with TechCrunch over its production (it was originally to be TC’s CrunchPad) are long from over. Now, a device that showed so much promise and could deliver a greater offering than even the iPad, remains only a thing of myth. Will it arrive, now on April 2nd as promised by Fusion Garage? So far, we’ve seen a whole lot of promises but nothing as far as real world follow through. It’s a shame, as that JooJoo tablet is surely a beauty…
