HTC Desire & HTC Legend Coming at Vodafone UK on April 8?

In case you’re based in the UK and looking for a hot new Android smartphone then you’re in for a tough selection process. The HTC Desire, HTC Legend and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be available from various top UK carriers and most of them will offer these handsets for free when bundled with new two-year pricier plans.

Today we hear that the HTC Desire might be available in Vodafone UK stores starting on April 8. The handset is currently ready to be pre-ordered and so is the HTC Legend.

The HTC Desire is a smartphone we’ve covered extensively here on TFTS and you guys must already know that besides Vodafone, UK customers will be able to also get it from T-Mobile, Orange and O2. Vodafone UK is currently offering the Desire free of charge to anyone willing to select a new 24-month plan of at least £30 per month.

The HTC Legend is also a very hot Android smartphone. Like the Desire it was announced this year and it will turn some Android fans’ heads. The device is available for pre-order from Vodafone UK too and it will also be available for free when bundled with new 24-month plans of at least £25 per month.

Vodafone’s official website says that if you pre-order the HTC Desire today you might get it by April 13 while the Legend could be delivered as soon as April 6, but the word on the street is that April 8 is the day when you’ll be able to snatch either one of these two hot Android smartphones.

Naturally, if Vodafone UK is not your favorite carrier then you can simply switch by the competition’s stores and ask around for the HTC Desire and Legend. I am sure they’ll also want to start selling the devices as soon as possible.
